Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Salesperson/receptionist to join The Noble Gent. In this role, you will drive sales of our clothing and hair products while providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Check in and out clients
  2. Engage clients to promote and sell high-quality clothing and hair products, tailoring recommendations to their style and needs.
  3. Provide personalized fashion advice, assisting clients in selecting outfits and grooming products that enhance their look.
  4. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of clothing
  5. Build lasting client relationships through excellent communication and follow-up to encourage repeat business.
  6. Collaborate with barbers and staff to ensure a seamless client experience from haircut to checkout.

Qualifications

  1. Education: ; training in fashion or retail is a plus.
  2. Experience: 1+ years in retail sales, personal styling, or customer service preferred (experience in a barbershop or salon is a bonus).
  3. Skills:
  4. Strong sales and customer service skills with a knack for building rapport.
  5. Ability to perform hair washing with care and attention to client comfort.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Basic organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a tidy workspace.

Barber

We are seeking passionate Hairstylists and Barbers to join our team at The Noble Gent that are wanting to grow into full-time men's lifestyle experts. We are not just barbers, we are the full package. whether you’re a young professional new to the hair industry or an experienced stylist looking for a supportive environment to grow your clientele and learn new skills, This role is tailored to help you build your skills and client base through hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to our loyal, style-conscious customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver a range of barbering services, including precision haircuts, fades, tapers, and beard trims (training provided for those new to specific techniques).
  2. be knowledgeable on the clothing we have in the store and learn how to sell it intentionally.
  3. Provide personalized consultations to understand clients’ preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs and lifestyle.
  4. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  5. Build and nurture client relationships to foster loyalty and grow a personal client base.
  6. Stay updated on the latest grooming trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings, with support from in-house training.
  7. Collaborate with the team to maintain a professional and upscale environment for clients.
  8. Promote and recommend grooming products available at The Noble Gent to enhance client experiences and boost retail sales.

Qualifications

  1. Valid Ohio barber or cosmetology license (or in the process of obtaining one for new professionals).
  2. Open to candidates with little to no experience, as well as seasoned hairstylists/barbers seeking a supportive environment to grow.
  3. Enthusiasm for learning and improving barbering skills, with a willingness to participate in mentorship and training programs.
  4. Proficiency or eagerness to learn classic and modern barbering techniques, such as fades, undercuts, and beard trims. Straight-razor shave skills are not required but are a plus if you have them.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and build a loyal client base.
  6. Professional demeanor and commitment to upholding The Noble Gent’s high-end brand image.
  7. Knowledge of grooming products or willingness to learn about their applications.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
